The president of the Ghana Institute of Planners has been awarded as a resource person by the Ghana Institute of Surveyors(GIS). This event took place at the 47th Annual General Meeting(AGM) of the Ghana Institute of Surveyors.
Highlight of the points that he made were:
- Law enforcement must precede attitudinal change and not the other way round as many people think.
- There is the strong need for an umbrella body for professionals in the built environment to act as a pressure group for the success of the 40year plan' by the National Development Planning Commission.
The theme for the AGM was 'PROFESSIONALS COLLABORATING FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT'.
